SafeTap

Waterborne illness is a leading cause of child mortality.

Our SafeTap filter is a solution.
Project41 has been on a mission to reach the world’s most vulnerable communities with access to safe and reliable water since 2014.

Whether it is for a family, school, health center, or community point of access, the SafeTap filter is a revolutionary solution to the global water crisis.

For over a decade, Project41 founder Andy Pierce traveled the world installing large-scale water filtration systems at health centers in developing regions. While highly effective, these systems often proved unsustainable due to resource limitations.

Recognizing the need for a smaller, more accessible solution, Project41 developed the SafeTap Water Filtration System—delivering the same advanced technology as larger systems in a compact, highly efficient design.

A perfect safe water solution for low-resource settings.

Along with being extremely effective, our SafeTap filter is designed to be easily constructed in-country, which helps to provide jobs to the local economy.

The Technology

Our SafeTap water filtration system is robust, easy to use, and operates under very low pressures. Utilizing advanced hollow fiber membrane technology, the system removes 99.99999% of all bacteria, protozoa, and cysts.

Our unique integrated backflush means this system can provide a near endless supply of clean, safe water.

At 3 gpm the system is perfect for homes, schools, health centers, or community point of access.

Tested & Approved

The SafeTap assists communities and healthcare facilities in providing clean water for their needs, improving the health of vulnerable families and preventing infections.

I have personally tested the water from the device in Uganda, where it provided clean water free of pathogens, and it works excellently… I highly recommend the use of the SafeTap water system in providing clean water to vulnerable people.

"A few of the SafeTap filters made the journey to conflicted-affected areas where our local partners navigated the security situation to provide clean drinking water to very vulnerable populations."
